Access keys
Our accessibility aims
We wish our site to be accessible to all who wish to view it. We have been guided by the UK government’s Code of Practice (revised, 2002) for Part III of the Disability Discrimination Act, 1995; but please contact us if you believe there is a particular way we may improve it for you.
The following advice and functionality is based around any of the following popular brands of Internet browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Netscape Browser. It is advised by security experts that you keep your browser up-to-date at all times with its latest software fixes. Recent versions of these browsers will do this for you automatically. Other browsers are also available.
Additional navigational aid
A number of Access Keys have been enabled for the main pages of our website to further enhance accessibility for all. For each link these are underlined. For example Home is thus marked; to access it with only the keyboard hold down Alt together with H. For Internet Explorer users, once the link is selected you must also press Enter to action the browser.
Text size adjustment
In the main browser window, there is a menu across the top which starts to read: File, Edit, View... Left-click on View to pull down its menu. Then left-click on Text Size in that menu. You will then be presented with another menu allowing you to left-click on larger (or increase) or smaller (or decrease).
