Earning your trust

Plain speaking and action-centred reporting
We know the value of speed and timeliness, but also the worthlessness of ‘quick fixes’ that assume people are passive. So where there is complexity or a need to evolve, you will get the full story – leading to action, not “paralysis by analysis”.
Stopping old problems ‘popping up’ again
We probe for root causes. You and your people can look forward to many a
polite but insistent “So...?”, as we check our understanding, test our
observations and get a feel for your culture and dynamics. You stay involved.
However deep we go, we always start and finish with you, the directors.
We stay in tune with your organisation’s core objectives.
Inviting you to open learning events
Come to one of our public meetings to get a fresh insight into your problems, meet directors with similar challenges, and get a feel for how we work. From time to time, the MD and his associates will be running an event in the Thames Valley, Milton Keynes, Oxon, Bucks, Herts & Beds region. Please contact us for details.
Agreeing stages and checkpoints, with documentation to match
Our contract agreements are short and clear, to suit staged projects, usually with a fixed fee being agreed at each stage. (Beyond the Feasibility stage, we may ask for a part-payment ‘up front’ in order to meet any heavily front-loaded consultancy costs). We are also happy to negotiate either
- a standard retainer (e.g. for attending monthly follow-up meetings) or
- a stand-by retainer (to ensure availability if required).
Involving you as required
- Full participation, with leaders and across boundaries
e.g. addressing • large scale change • mistrust between groups • complexity. - Local participation, with leaders of a discrete part of the organisation
e.g. addressing • a localised system change • a prototype reorganisation. - Delegation, from one leader championing a small scale change
e.g. introducing an individual performance appraisal process on top of a proven approach to motivation and reward.
Delivering value
We only engage with you when you are happy with the proposed payback. Like commercial insurance premiums, realistic fees for our more sophisticated **people+systems** services are not trivial, but are a small fraction of your potential return.
